Slurries
Engis offers a complete range of Hyprez slurries and lubricants for every precision lapping application.
In addition to a standard range of oil, water based, or emulsion carriers, Engis also can custom engineer a slurry for even the most demanding applications. Our extensive R&D department and Process Development Lab ensure that Engis' range of slurries always stay ahead of the curve in terms of lapping efficiencies and part quality.
Engis specializes in the manufacture of precision slurries utilizing submicron particles and can engineer a product to suit any application. Lapping Plates
Engis offers a complete range of lapping plates for its Hyprez systems for every application. These plates are offered in a wide variety of materials, including cast iron, copper, copper composite, and ceramic.
In addition, Engis has recently developed a new series of high performance plates, the X08, and X12A which permit higher stock removal rates and better finishes on difficult materials than our standard range.
Engis is one of the few lapping systems producers that manufacturers its own plates, which gives us complete control over plate quality. In addition, we can resurface used plates with new coatings which reduces overall costs.
Plates can be supplied in a variety of configurations, including grooved and waffle pattern. In addition, our Process Development Lab (PDL) can assist you in selecting the best plate material and design for your application.
